Dr. Nicholas Bastidas, MD

Dr. Nicholas Bastidas is a craniofacial surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at the Northwell Health, Hofstra School of Medicine. He is a member of the Northwell Health Transgender Center and is focused on excellence in gender affirming surgery, including Facial Feminization Surgery and top surgery.

Dr. Bastidas earned his MD with honors from New York University. He completed his plastic surgery training at NYU and completed a craniofacial fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Recruited to the Northwell Health system in 2013, he is widely recognized for his expertise in craniofacial and reconstructive surgery and performs Facial Feminization Surgery with high procedural volume and consistent patient satisfaction.

Dr. Shari Reitzen, MD

Dr. Shari Reitzen is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and ENT specialist with advanced expertise in rhinoplasty and facial aesthetics. She specializes in Facial Feminization Surgery and is known for refined nasal shaping and functional restoration, helping patients achieve beautiful feminizing results while protecting breathing.

Dr. Reitzen also offers advanced tracheal shave techniques, including video-guided approaches that support vocal cord safety. She completed her training at NYU and went on to complete a dedicated facial plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Miami. She holds privileges at Lenox Hill Hospital and MEETH, supporting a high standard of surgical care and patient safety.
