Dr. Nicholas Bastidas MD
Dr. Nicholas Bastidas is a craniofacial surgeon and associate professor of surgery at the Northwell Health – Hofstra School of Medicine. He is a member of the Northwell Health Transgender Center and is focused on excellence in transgender surgery. Dr. Bastidas has performed hundreds of facial feminization and top surgeries and is focused on obtaining the most natural aesthetic results for his patients.
Dr Bastidas received his MD with Honors from New York Univeristy. He then stayed on to complete his plastic surgery training at NYU and an a craniofacial fellowship year at the University of Pennsylvania. He was recruited to the Northwell Health system in 2013. Dr. Bastidas is a recognized expert in many areas of craniofacial and plastic surgery. He regularly performs facial feminization surgery almost daily and has a National and International recognition.
Robin Rivera
Robin Rivera is a board certified nurse practitioner and serves in addition as our transgender patient navigator. Mrs. Rivera is an excellent fund of knowledge and can provide guidance and a wealth of information on pre-operative planning and post-operative recovery. In addition, she will work with you to make sure we have all the information we need to help expedite your insurance approval and scheduling.
Fior Cruz is our operative scheduler and will work with you to get insurance approval and help schedule your surgical date. Fior will provide information on what is needed for pre-operative clearance and will help schedule your follow-up appoints.
Janiqua Milligan is our administrative assistant and will work with you to keep you informed and up to date during the insurance approval process.
