Dr. Nicholas Bastidas MD
Dr. Nicholas Bastidas is a craniofacial surgeon and associate professor of surgery at the Northwell Health – Hofstra School of Medicine. He is a member of the Northwell Health Transgender Center and is focused on excellence in transgender surgery. Dr. Bastidas has performed hundreds of facial feminization and top surgeries and is focused on obtaining the most natural aesthetic results for his patients.
Dr Bastidas received his MD with Honors from New York Univeristy. He then stayed on to complete his plastic surgery training at NYU and an a craniofacial fellowship year at the University of Pennsylvania. He was recruited to the Northwell Health system in 2013. Dr. Bastidas is a recognized expert in many areas of craniofacial and plastic surgery. He regularly performs facial feminization surgery almost daily and has a National and International recognition.
Dr. Shari Reitzen, MD
Dr. Reitzen is a double board certified Facial plastic /ENT surgeon and an expert in Facial Aesthetics and Rhinoplasty. She specializes in facial feminization surgery and can offer video guided tracheal shave to help reduce the risk of vocal cord injury. As a Rhinoplasty expert, Dr. Reitzen also can help restore beathing as well as offer beautiful feminizing results.
Dr. Reitzen completed her training at NYU and went on to do a dedicated facial plastic surgery fellowship in the University of Miami. She has privileges at Lenox Hill Hospital and MEETH.
